Melissa worked as a personal trainer before becoming a Naturopath, and became extremely frustrated by the messaging and support that was given to women in the Health & Fitness world. There wasn't any awareness around the unique functioning of the female body (women were simply treated like 'mini men') and a huge gap in the understanding of what women's bodies needed to lose weight optimally, feel hormonally balanced, energised and free of discomfort. This ignited her quest to make a difference and provide women with a safe and knowledgeable place to land - with a practitioner who truly cared and was invested in them living the best life they could.
Melissa is determined to change the narrative that women just need to 'suck it up', 'accept it as normal', 'try harder' or 'stay silent'.
She is a heart-led practitioner who helps women live a life that is lighter, more energised and full of joy.
